Join Me In The Studio This Winter For Brighton Artist Open House

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be part of the Artists Open House series in Brighton this winter! From November 25 through December 10, I’ll be opening up my studio overlooking the ocean for a special showcase of my latest work.

Since arriving in Brighton, I’ve been immersed in creating, and I can’t wait to share over ten new original paintings I’ve been working on right here in my studio, Giclees & Co. These pieces reflect my journey and inspiration since moving to this vibrant seaside city.

In addition to originals, I’ll have a selection of Giclée fine art prints, printed right here in-house, with framing options available if you’d like to take one home, ready to hang. I’ll also be offering some merchandise—perfect for those of you looking for a small, creative keepsake or gift this season.

A New Start in Brighton

I moved to Brighton in June 2024, spent the first few months getting settled, and focused on setting up my new studio, Giclees & Co. Since then, it’s been nonstop creating and experimenting with new ideas. Now, with the Open House, I’m excited to share some of the pieces I’ve been working on here for the first time.

My Latest Collection: Originals and More

For the Open House, I’ll be showing a collection of original paintings, all created since moving to Brighton. These pieces are a mix of what’s been on my mind and what I’ve experienced in the past few months—a bit of the city, a bit of the coast, and everything in between. Some of the paintings are vibrant, others more muted, but each one reflects this new chapter in different ways.

I’ll also have a selection of Giclée fine art prints, made right here in the studio. These are high-quality prints that capture the colors and details of the originals, with framing options available if you want a piece ready to hang. There’s also some merchandise on hand—ideal for a small, creative addition to your space or as a unique gift.

A Look Inside Metway Studios

My studio at Metway in Kemptown is where everything comes together. Just a few steps from the sea, it’s got the kind of light and open space I’ve always wanted for my work. For the Open House, I’ll be setting up the studio for visitors to stop by, check out the work, and get a sense of where and how everything’s made. Usually, it’s a private space, so I’m looking forward to sharing it with people who appreciate seeing art in the place it’s created.

Why the Open House Matters

Participating in the Brighton Artists Open House is more than an exhibition; it’s a chance to connect directly with art lovers, collectors, and those just curious about the process. For me, it’s about showing people the work up close, answering questions, and connecting in a way that goes beyond just seeing the art online.

The Open House is also a chance to meet other local artists, each bringing their style to the event, making it feel like a collective celebration of what Brighton’s art community has to offer. Being a part of this feels like a natural extension of what drew me to Brighton in the first place.

Catch the View and the Work

Come by and see where it all happens—an ocean-view studio filled with new work, prints, and a few pieces you might just want to take home. This Brighton Artist Open House is a chance to see the art up close, chat about the work if you’d like, and maybe even find something that speaks to you.

Looking forward to meeting you by the sea.
